Starting in July of 2019, I started working remotely as a web design specialist for The Paramount Group, a Florida-based web design, graphic design, and SEO firm. Initially I was mostly helping create pages, organize content, edit client photos, and generally assist with the running of their clients’ web sites. After a few months, I was given my own client - Centered on Wellness - to create a brand-new site based on their parent organization, the Golden Isles Center for Plastic Surgery. Since then, I’ve created three full websites for clients from scratch and made significant redesign contributions to a fourth - all of these are available below.

CLIENT: Barfield Contracting & Roofing

LOCATION: Central Florida

ABOUT: Barfield is a small, family-owned roofing and contracting company serving Brevard County and Central Florida. They offer renovation services as well as roofing, both interior and exterior, and build home additions.

CHALLENGE: Design a simple, functional website from the ground up that displays Barfield’s variety of contracting and roofing services. Include separate pages for all services, separate “about” pages for three locations, and a working blog.

CLIENT: Centered on Wellness

LOCATION: Saint Simon’s Island, Georgia

ABOUT: Centered on Wellness is an offshoot of the Golden Isles for Plastic Surgery. Rather than focus on surgery, Centered on Wellness offers nutritional assessments, stress management, weight management, and hormone balancing services for a comprehensive holistic approach to health and wellness.

CHALLENGE: Design and develop a website that is a “cousin” to the Golden Isles website without being identical. The aesthetic should be clean, modern, and welcoming, easy for potential patients to navigate without prior knowledge of holistic health.

CLIENT: Douglas Marks Law Office

LOCATION: Indialantic, Florida

ABOUT: Douglas Marks is a Florida-based attorney specializing in family law (divorce court, alimony, child custody, etc.), commercial litigation, and mediation services between civil parties or families.

CHALLENGE: Design a simple, clean website from the ground up with all the basic information about Mr. Marks’ law practice. The design should be sophisticated, classic, and easy to navigate.

CLIENT: Gilbert Harrell Sumerford & Martin Law

LOCATION: Brunswick, Georgia

ABOUT: Gilbert Harrell is a prestigious Georgia-based law firm founded in 1871. They specialize in commercial and civil litigation, real estate law, estate planning and wealth management, and corporate law.

CHALLENGE: Overhaul their current website for a fresh, punchy, modern look. Include large text, bold blocks of color, responsive design, and limited white space.
